Congratulations on the end of the school year and the exciting start of the 6th grade academy!
Thank you for the strong turn out for the math and reading assessments but don't worry if you were unable to attend as we will be scheduling a make up date in two weeks.
Friday, May 27, was the requested date to return the registration materials and the elective sheet. We had fifty turned in at that time and we need the others as soon as possible as we are in the process of creating the master schedule. The forms may be turned in to the office at PJHS and the summer office hours are 8:00-am to 3:00 pm., Monday through Friday.
The Academy teachers are hard at work meeting with our curriculum consultants and reviewing the materials. The Ipads 2 have been ordered and we had a great meeting yesterday with a sales rep of the Smart Boards that we are deciding upon to have in each classroom. I will keep in touch with you by this email and I appreciate your comments as well. I have a blog going on the district web site www.petalumacityschools.org ; go to the sixth grade academy menu and check into the blog. I will update it regularly with updates. Viernes, 27 de mayo, fue la fecha solicitada para devolver el material de inscripcióny la hoja de elección. Nos había vuelto cincuenta en ese momento y que necesitamosa los demás lo antes posible, ya que estamos en el proceso de creación delprograma maestro. Los formularios pueden ser entregados a la oficina a PJHS y las horas de oficina de verano es de 8:00 am a 3:00 pm., de lunes a viernes.
Los profesores de la Academia son difíciles en la reunión de trabajo con nuestrosasesores plan de estudios y la revisión de los materiales. El iPads 2 han sidoordenados y tuvimos una gran reunión de ayer con un representante de ventas de lassalas inteligentes que estamos decidiendo en que en cada salón de clases.
